This past Monday, while enjoying my day off (Hey, I gotta tell the truth) I sat and thought about what Juneteenth was all about. I thought about what it could have felt like for someone to not only come into the knowledge that they were free but in fact, they had been free for some time. Oh my goodness! I can’t imagine how that must have felt. As I thought about that, Holy Spirit encouraged me to see it in the spirit and my mind was blown! 

How many of us are walking around under a pretense that no longer exists? How many of us are walking around with old narratives, doubt, being bound, not realizing that in Jesus we have true freedom and liberty? People who benefit from your ignorance regarding your freedom will let you walk around bound, shackled, operating under false narratives and settling for a lesser destiny. The enemy knows that we have true freedom; He knows that we have power; He knows that we are victorious. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36)!
