As ambassadors of God’s Kingdom we are challenged in our daily walk to live out the standard God has established for His chosen people. Each day our living---how we think, how we behave, what we say is tried and proven. Each day the enemy sends his employees out in an attempt to get us to stop believing, to walk in condemnation, resort to the old way of handling things and ultimately have our faith in the Almighty eliminated. Buttons are pressed, statements are made, manners seem to be a figment of your imagination, people are trying (and I mean really trying) you, if anything can go wrong it is going wrong….and it is at the wrong time, it is trespass after trespass, sometimes it is as if all hell is breaking loose! 

As new creation beings we walk with a power and an authority that trumps the enemy each and every time. We walk in the inevitable and sometimes inexplicable victory that only God can provide. As irritations come I challenge you to do something different. I need you to press. Press means to forge ahead (etymonline.com). Press past…the trespass. Don’t get caught up in the distractions the enemy throws your way. Saying yes to Christ not only opens up doors in Eternity for the benefit of the Kingdom through you but it also puts a target on your back. The enemy is well aware of the power you possess and the artillery that you have access to—this is why he is here to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10). Press past the trespass knowing that you have been empowered to be an overcomer (Romans 8:37). Press past, knowing that you have been given the authority to trample on serpents and scorpion and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt  you (Luke 10:19). Press past, knowing that all things are working together for your good (Romans 8:28). Press past knowing no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
